It’s field season. Our botany teams are monitoring plant populations and collecting new material. Our medicinal garden is thriving with all the recent rain. Meanwhile, medicinal chemistry work continues, and we continue to build our Prairie Ethnobotany Database.

This past Saturday, 30 Douglas County Extension Master Gardeners joined Kelly Kindscher, who heads the botany side of our program, for a tour of our medicinal garden. Our new plantings are thriving after all the rain this past week.
